Today (8th April) we're celebrating the 27th birthday of Kim Jonghyun of Shinee.
He is the Main Vocalist of the group and was born in 1990. He is the second oldest in the group after the leader Onew. He trained for 3 years from 2005-2008 before the group debuted. He was 18 when the group debuted.
Before Shinee he was in a band but not as a singer, but a bassist. He is the shortest of the 5 members in Shinee. He plays guitar, bass and piano.
Shinee is a 5 member boy group under SM Entertainment that debuted in May 2008. In the year of debut the group won 7 awards. And even 8 years after debut (2016 & 2017) they are still popular winning 20 awards in various areas.
In total they have had 69 nominations and 59 wins. Plus the 57 awards they have won at music awards, leaving a grand total of 116 awards won before their 9th anniversary.
