Pentagon

Pentagon debuted October 10, 2016 with their song Gorilla and debut album PENTAGON.

It is a 10 member group under Cube Entertainment. The members are; Jinho, Hui, Hongseok, E’Dawn, Shinwon, YeoOne, YanAn, Yuto, Kino and Wooseok. They were born between 1992 and 1998.

The members were selected through a survival show called Pentagon Maker. Pentagon was Cube’s third boy group after Beast and BTOB. The member Hongseok was on the YG survival show to create iKON. They were originally going to debut with 7 members. Pentagon is a five sided shape, they said they wanted to have the five basic qualities that singers need to have singing/rapping, dancing, teamwork, talent and mind/mental strength.
