Brawn

My Review:

This is probably my third favourite book in this series (New Species Series). There's an aspect of it that I really enjoyed (though I can't tell you what, because of spoilers). At the beginning, I didn’t particularly like Brawn and the way he treated humans as weak (though I understand why he thought this) and unintentionally insulted Becca. I also thought Becca was a bit bratty at parts. There was also a bit of a lack of communication skills. The story got better as it progressed, maybe because the author got more into the characters and plot, I don’t know, but I enjoyed it. It is also quite dramatic and had me squealing at parts. Brawn was sweet and protective and don’t forget sexy. When he dropped to his knees and buried his face against her thigh and said: “Do not send me away.” I died. He was a bit bull headed but not too much to take away from my enjoyment of the story and also most guys have that little flaw. Becca was brave, outspoken and good-hearted. I understood where she was coming from and a lot of people would have reacted the same way. Overall I liked her character. The story was cute at parts and definitely hooked me, can’t wait to read the next one.
